“I hereby assume the position as Chief Philippine National Police effective April 1, 2024,” ang pahayag ni Marbil.

Pamumunuan ni Marbel ang 232,000 kabuuang puwersa ng pulisya bilang ika-30 hepe ng PNP sa ilalim ni Secretary Benjamin Abalos ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

“With our heartfelt congratulations, we welcome Police General Rommel Francisco Marbil, who will assume the responsibilities of the 30th Chief of the PNP. Police General Marbil, you have my full confidence and my full support, as you begin to champion a police that is pro-God, pro-country, pro-people, pro-environment,” ang sabi ni Marcos kay Marbil.
