Science HS sa Bacoor, Marikina pinasinayaan ni Angara

PINASINAYAAN ni Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Sonny Angara ang dalawang science school na itinayo sa Bacoor City sa laalwigan ng Cavite at Marikina City sa Metro Manila, Martes, Marso 11, 2025.

Ayon kay Angara, patunay lamang aniya ito sa isinusulong na programa ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. sa larangan ng pagpapaunlad ng sistema sa edukasyon sa bansa.

Gagamitin agad aniya sa lalong madaling panahon ang Bacoor Science and Technology High School, isang 12-palapag na gusali na may 60 classrooms, siyam na workshop rooms, science lab, computer center, library, multimedia rooms at collaborative spaces.

“Ito’y hindi gusali lamang. Ang mas importante ay yung mga teacher natin ganadong magturo, yung mga bata natin ay ganado rin pumasok. They are eager to learn, they are eager to expand their horizons,” ang pahayag ni Angara.

Kasama sa nasabing pagpapasinaya sina Bacoor City Mayor Strike Revilla, Cavite 2nd District Rep. Lani Mercado Revilla, DPWH Undersecretary Eric Ayapana, DepEd Usec. Trygye Olaivar at iba pang mga opisyal.

Samantala, pinasinayaan din noong Lunes ang isang 5-palapag na gusali na Marikina Science High School (MarSci) kung saan mayroon itong 32 classrooms at apat na specialized workshop rooms.

“The future is in technology, research, and development. Kaya kung mahal natin ang ating mga anak, at gusto natin silang makakuha ng magandang trabaho whether here or abroad, mag-invest po tayo bilang isang bansa sa science and technology,” saa pa ng kalihim.

Kasama ni Angara ang dati niyang kasmahan sa senado na si Senator Koko Pimentel, Special Envoy Kath Yu-Pimentel, Rep. Stella Quimbo and former Rep. Miro Quimbo, gayundin ang mga opisyal ng DPWH at DepEd.
