Insidente ng sunog sa bansa, tumaas ng 20.7%

Nakapagtala ang Bureau of Fire Protection ng 15,679 na insidente ng sunog sa buong bansa, mula January 1, 2023 hanggang nitong December 26, 2023.

Katumbas ito ng 20.7 percent na pagtaas, kumpara sa 12,000 fire incidents sa kaparehong panahon noong 2022.

Nangungunang sanhi ng sunog ang electrical malfunction at karamihan ng insidente ay naitala sa mga residential area.

Samantala, nakapagtala naman ang BFP ng 24 na fire incidents dahil sa paputok mula January 1 hanggang nitong December 26, na mas mababa kumpara sa 28 insidente sa kahalintulad na panahon sa nakalipas na taon.
