PhilHealth: ₱1.4-M na, para sa breast cancer

SINABI ng PhilHealth na itinaas nito sa 140 percent ang “Z-benefit” package para sa may breast cancer, mula sa ₱100,000.

Ayon kay Emmanuel Ledesma Jr., PhilHealth president at CEO nitong Peb. 23 na kasunod nang ipinatupad na 30 percent dagdag PhilHealth benefits, inaprubahan din ang pagtataas ng “Z-benefit” para sa mga miyembrong may breast cancer.

Kasama sa benepisyo ang hospital room and board fees, in-hospital medications, laboratory examinations, operating room fees, at professional fees.

Nadagdagan din ang iba pang benepisyo, gaya ng: Ischemic stroke mula ₱28,000 na naging ₱76,000 (171 percent increase), hemorrhagic stroke mula ₱38,000 na naging ₱80,000 (111 percent increase), at coverage ng high-risk pneumonia mula ₱32,000 na naging ₱90,100 (182 percent increase).
