BELLAVITA, the socialized housing arm of Ayala Land, Inc., has officially turned over the first batch of homes to qualified municipal employees as part of a landmark 1,011-unit housing initiative in Barangay Pacol, Naga City.
The initial phase awarded 110 completed housing units to city workers who secured their homes through individual Pag-IBIG Fund housing loans.
Established via a Memorandum of Agreement between BellaVita Land Corp. and the Naga City Government, the program leverages public-private collaboration to provide accessible homeownership opportunities for public servants.
Under the agreement, the local government facilitates employee participation through its Housing and Settlements Development Office while coordinating with financing partners.
Key officials led the ceremonial turnover, including Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo, Pag-IBIG Fund President and CEO Marilene Acosta, Social Housing Finance Corporation President and CEO Frederico Laxa, DHSUD Assistant Secretary Engr. Johnson Domingo, and Ayala Land Chief Sustainability Officer Robert S. Lao.
Mayor Robredo highlighted the readiness of the development, noting that the awarded units feature completed road infrastructure along with active water and electrical connections.
The former Vice President expressed gratitude to BellaVita and Pag-IBIG Fund for enabling municipal personnel—ranging from administrative staff to service workers—to own property within the city they serve.
Lao emphasized the significance of inter-agency cooperation in realizing the initiative, stating that bringing together local governance, government financial institutions, and private sector development builds essential pathways for municipal workers to establish permanent residences.
The remaining units within the 1,011-home project will be turned over in subsequent phases. BellaVita continues to expand its socialized housing portfolio, focusing on master-planned communities that integrate affordable housing with community facilities and local economic opportunities.
