Ito ang palaisipan sa mga may-ari ng kotse, motorsiklo, atbp. sasakyan dahil milyun-milyong
sasakyan sa bansa ang wala pa ring car plates.


Meron. Dahil iniulat kamakailan ng Commission on Audit (CoA) na 1.79 milyong pares ng car
plates o 3.58 milyong piraso na nagkakahalaga ng lampas P800 milyon ang hindi pa rin kinukuha
ng mga may-ari na kanila nang binayaran. Kasama sa bilang na ito ang plaka ng motorsiklo.


Ayon kay Vigor Mendoza II, chair, Land Transportation Office (LTO) na mag-iissue ang kanyang
opisina ng memorandum sa lahat ng LTO regional directors para sila mismo ang mag-deliver ng car plates sa mga may-ari nito.

Bukod pa sa car plates na nasa LTO, malaki ring bilang ng mga ito ang nakabimbin sa mga dealer ng sasakyan kung saan binili ang motor vehicle.


Sinabi ni Mendoza na kakausapin nila ang car dealers para sila mismo ang mag-deliver ng car
plates sa kanilang customers.


Kapag hindi pa rin na-claim ang car plates sa loob ng 60 araw, papatawan ng multa ang mga may-ari ng sasakyan at car dealers.
