THE Eastern Police District (EPD), under the leadership of Acting District Director Police Brigadier General Melecio M. Buslig, Jr., secured the No. 1 rank in the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) for both June and July 2026.
The evaluation, conducted by the NCRPO Regional Plans and Strategic Management Division (RPSMD), measures operational efficiency, administrative management, and overall organizational effectiveness across district offices in Metro Manila.
With this latest evaluation, Team EPD has maintained its top-ranking position NCRPO-wide for 16 consecutive months, spanning from April 2025 through July 2026.
The milestone highlights the district’s sustained performance and consistency in carrying out law enforcement operations.
PBGen. Buslig, Jr. commended the district’s personnel for their collective discipline and commitment to duty.
“This recognition is a victory for the entire Team EPD. Being ranked No. 1 NCRPO-wide for two consecutive months is a testament to the hard work, discipline, and commitment of every police officer and personnel,” Buslig stated.
“This achievement inspires us to do even better and remain steadfast in our mission to provide safe, secure, and quality police service to our communities,” added Buslig.
The continuous high performance was driven by the collaborative efforts of the EPD Command Group, the City Police Stations of Pasig, Mandaluyong, Marikina, and San Juan (PaMaMariSan CPS), the District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB), the District Staff, and support personnel.
Through these coordinated operational measures, the Eastern Police District continues to reinforce its commitment to maintaining peace, order, and public safety across its areas of responsibility.
