NADAKIP ang isang babae sa isang buy-bust operation ng mga operatiba ng Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) ng Pasig PNP nitong araw ng Huwebes, Pebrero 23 sa F. Soriano St. Barangay Sto. Tomas, Pasig City.

Ikinasa ang nasabing operasyon kasama ang Station Special Weapons and Tactics dakong 1:30 ng madaling araw sa nabanggit na barangay ayon sa ulat na nakarating kay Police Colonel Celerino M. Sacro Jr., ang kasalukuyang Chief of Police ng Pasig City.

Kinilala ang suspek na si alyas ‘Shirley,’ 47-taong gulang, high school graduate, walang trabaho at residente ng Brgy. Pinagbuhatan.

Nasabat sa nangyaring operasyon ang t atlong pakete ng hinihinalang shabu na may timbang na humigit-kumulang na walong gramo at aabot sa 54,400 pesos ang halaga.

Ilan pa sa nakuha ay dalawang one-hundred peso bill at isang one-thousand peso na galing pa umano sa pinag-bentahan ng iligal na droga.

Pinuri naman ni Col. Sacro ang mga tauhan nito sa kanilang dedikasyon sa anti-illegal drug operation upang madakip ang suspek.

“I urge also the general public to be vigilant and be our active partners in the fight against all forms of lawlessness and criminality in the city,” dagdag pa Col. Sacro.

Dinala naman ang suspek sa Philippine National Police (PNP) Pasig upang pormal na sampahan ng kaso at ipadala sa NHQ-Forensic Group, Camp Crame, Quezon City para sa isasagawang drug at laboratory tests.

Sasampahan ng kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 and 11 ng Article 2 ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Act of 2002 ang nasabing suspek at kasalukuyang nakakulong sa custodial facility ng Pasig PNP.
