Ito ang bansag sa mga lalaking bumubuntis at sumisira sa kinabukasan ng mga kabataang babae.
Ayon sa datus ng Philippine Statistics Authority Region 7 (PSA7), limang porsyento ng mga kabataang babae sa Central Visayas ang nabuntis noong 2022. Ito ay sumasalamin sa pambansang record.


Sinabi ni Engr. Leopoldo Alfanta Jr., chief statistical specialist ng PSA7, ayon daw sa National
Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS), 5 percent ng mga kababaihan, edad 15-19 ay nakaranas magbuntis noong 2022.


Idinetalye ni Alfanta na sa age group na ito, 5 percent ang buntis sa kanilang unang anak, 2 percent ang nakapanganak na, 3 percent ang buntis sa panahon ng survey, at 1 percent ang nakunan o nagkaroong ng pregnancy loss.

Binanggit din niya na ang mga babaing Pilipino, edad 21-49 ay nakaranas ng kanilang unang sexual intercourse sa median age na 21 taong gulang.


Ayon sa research ng Brabo News, ang pagbubuntis ng 15-19 years old sa buong bansa ay nasa 8.6 percent noong 2017.

Ito ay bumaba sa 5.4 percent noong 2022. Pero ang pinakamataas na antas ay sa mga babaing edad 19 na pumalo sa 13.3 percent. Sa buong bansa, 4.8 percent ang record nang pagbubuntis sa mga urbanisadong lugar at 6.1 percent sa rural areas o mga kanayunan.
