CONVERGE ICT Solutions Inc. delivered the country’s strongest fixed broadband performance in the second quarter of 2026, leading key metrics in both government and independent industry evaluations.
According to the Department of Information and Communications Technology’s (DICT) latest Oplan Bantay Signal report, Converge achieved an industry-leading download speed of 158 Mbps alongside a country-lowest average latency of 5 milliseconds.
The DICT initiative continuously evaluates telecommunications providers on download and upload speeds, latency, and overall service reliability.
Complementing the government report, global network intelligence firm Ookla® awarded Converge top honors in its Speedtest Intelligence report for the first half of 2026.
Based on consumer-initiated testing, Converge secured the “Best Internet,” “Fastest Internet,” and “Best Fixed Latency” titles for the January to June period.
“Converge has always been focused on delivering the best quality service to its customers. Our upload speed reached a six-month high, while our network delivered best-in-class latency, reflecting the continuous investments we have made to improve customer experience,” said Dennis Anthony Uy, Converge CEO and Co-Founder.
In tandem with technical gains, Converge reported an 84% reduction in customer complaints between January and June, driven by network stability and ongoing infrastructure investments aimed at expanding nationwide digital access.
Alongside its performance milestones, Converge announced key corporate governance updates following its Annual Stockholders’ Meeting.
The Board of Directors elected former Supreme Court Senior Associate Justice Estela Perlas-Bernabe as its new Chairperson, marking her as the first female Board Chair in the company’s history.
Justice Perlas-Bernabe succeeds veteran business leader and former Cabinet Secretary Jose De Jesus, who served as Chairman since Converge’s initial public offering on the Philippine Stock Exchange in October 2020.
De Jesus will remain on the Board as an Independent Director. Under his leadership, Converge previously earned the ICD Five Arrow Award for corporate governance.
