KAKARAMPUT na dagdag-sweldo.


Ito ang reaksyon ng marami sa mga manggagawa sa Calabarzon, matapos ianunsyo ng Regional
Tripartite Wages and Board, Region IV-A noong Huwebes, ang mula 9-11 percent na dagdag-
sahod.


Ang P35-P40 na dagdag-sahod bawat araw ay magsisimula sa Setyembre 24, 2023, sa mga
lalawigan ng Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, at Quezon, pawang nasa Calabarzon.


Makikinabang dito ang 719,704 mga manggagawa na sumasahod nang minimum wage sa buong
rehiyon.


Para sa hindi nagtatrabaho sa mga bukirin, ang arawang minimum wage ay magiging P520 sa
“extended metropolitan area”, at P479 para sa mga lungsod at first class na munisipyo. Ang mga
nasa second at third-class municipalities ay P425 bawat araw, samantalang para sa fourth, fifth at
sixth-class municipalities ay P385 lamang.

Para sa mga nagtatrabaho sa bukirin, ang arawang minimum wage ay P479 para sa “extended
metropolitan area and component cities”, at P425 para sa first-class municipalities. Ang mga nasa
second hanggang third-class municipalities ay tatanggap ng P385 kada araw.


Samantala, ang arawang empleyado sa “retail and service establishment” – na may isa hangggang
sampung kawani – ay makatatanggap ng P385, mula sa dating P350.


Sinabi pa ng Labor department na halos 1.6 milyong manggagawa na sumusweldo nang mahigit pa sa minimum wage ang makikinabang din dito.
