ITUTULOY na kaya ang nakaambang pagtataas ng PhilHealth contributions ngayong
taon?


Ito ang tanong ng maraming miyembro dahil wala pa raw desisyon si Pangulong
Ferdinand Marcos Jr. kung itutuloy na ang pagtataas ng kontribusyon.
Sinabi ng PhilHealth na tanging si Marcos lamang ang makapagbibigay ng desisyon
kung itutuloy ang five percent na pagtataas sa buwanang kontribusyon ng mga
miyembro.


Hiniling kamakailan sa Pangulo ni Health Secretary at PhilHealth chair Teodoro
Herbosa na suspendihin muna ang hakbang na ito ng PhilHealth dahil kaya pa naman
nitong pondohan ang mga benepisyo sa ilalim ng programa.


Base sa Universal Healthcare Law, tinataasan nito ang PhilHealth contributions sa 0.5
percent kada taon simula 2021 hanggang sa mabuo nito ang limang porsyentong
itinakda ng batas, mula 2024 hanggang 2025.
