KAPAMILYA ang turing ni Lovi Poe kay Phoebe, ang kanyang alagang aso sa loob ng 17 taon.

Nang nalaman niyang may sakit si Phoebe, umuwi kaagad si Lovi sa bansa. Kaalis lang niya nitong Dis. 5 papuntang Los Angeles at bumalik muli sa bansa dahil sa tumor ni Phoebe.

Ayon kay Lovi, “Two years ago, she already had… like tumor din inside sa body niya and then basically sinabi sa akin ng vet na parang she’ll be given like six months to live but then I’m just so grateful na she gave us three years pa.”

“She was still strong, that’s why it felt so unexpected, although sinabi sa akin na may six months siya pero binigyan pa niya ako ng two years and then I’m just so grateful for that. But it’s funny that even if it’s like 17 years, it still feels short ‘pag dogs talaga. I think dog moms would understand… [Dogs] are actually families.”

“It’s hard. Pero kinakaya ko talaga,” ani Lovi. Ipina-cremate na niya si Phoebe at makakahilera ito sa mga abo ng kanyang kapamilya. Hindi malinaw kung tao o mga aso rin ang tinukoy niyang “abo ng kapamilya”.

Samantala, may project sa Hollywood si Lovi na pinamagatang “Bad Man”. Wala pang anomang detalye sa ikalawang pelikula na ginagawa o gagawin pa niya. May nakapila rin na local projects sa aktres, isa na rito ang sa Regal Films.
