ISANG grupong Muslim ang nag-file ng disbarment case laban kay United Kingdom
Ambassador Teddy Boy Locsin Jr. dahil sa social media post nito na “kill Palestinian children.”
SINABI ng 1Bangsamoro party-list na gusto nilang papanagutin si Locsin dahil sa post nito na
nag-uudyok nang “genocide, promoting Islamophobia, and hate speech.”


Hiniling nila kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na agad pauwiin na si Locsin at tanggalin sa
pwesto.


“‘Yung statement ni Atty. Locsin na ikinagulat at lalong ikinadismaya ng mga Bangsamoro ay
talagang hindi lang isang beses yan, hindi twice, hindi thrice, kung hindi napakaraming beses.
Makikita niyo sa Google na talagang napaka anti-Muslim niya,” ayon sa pangulo ng1Bangsa
party-list na si Maulana Balangi.

Sa kanyang post sa X o Twitter, sinabi ni Locsin, “That’s why Palestinian children should be
killed; they might grow up to become as innocent Palestinians letting Hamas launch rockets at
Israel; not that they could stop them but that’s no excuse.”

Binura na ni Locsin ang kanyang post at humingi ng tawad. Ipinaliwanag niya na hindi niya
isinusulong ang literal na pagpatay sa kahit sinoman, kundi para wakasan na ang idolohiya na
sumusuporta sa terorismo, anomang uri o anyo nito.


“Dahil makikita natin na hindi siya 101% sinsero doon sa kanyang paghingi ng apology. Ang
kanyang sinabi ay para lang doon sa mga taong na miscontrue doon sa kanyang statement.
Wala na siyang ibang, kumbaga, eksplenasyon. Pero ika nga nila, the damage has been done.


Kumbaga, nasaktan na ang sambayanang Muslim. More than 3 billion yung mga Muslim na
kanyang sinaktan. Kasama na doon ‘yung more or less 15 Muslim Bangsamoro dito sa ating
bansa,” pagtatapos ni Balangi.
