TUMAAS ang benta ng sasakyan ng 30.7 percent sa unang anim na buwan ng 2023.


Umabot ang benta sa 202,415 units sa unang dalawang quarters ng taon, Ito ay mas mataas sa
154,874 units na naibenta sa pareho ring yugto noong 2022.


Ang ulat ay inilabas ng Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) at
Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) kahapon.


Pinakamalakas ang benta ng commercial vehicles (CV), na may 151,567 units sa unang semester ng taon, o 30.8 percent na mas mataas kaysa 115,871 units na nabenta noong nakaraang taon.

Samantala, ang benta ng kotse ay tumaas din sa 30.4 percent o 50,848 units, mula sa 39,003 units noong 2022. Noong nakaraang Hunyo, ang kabuuang benta ng CAMPI-TMA ay tumas sa 27
percent o 36,311 sa taong ito kaysa 28,601 units na nabenta sa parehong buwan noong nakaraang taon.
