Dollar reserves ng bansa, bumaba sa US$99.8-B nitong Hunyo

BUMABA sa US$99.8 bilyon ang gross international reserves ng bansa nitong katapusan ng Hunyo
mula sa US$100.6 bilyon noong Mayo.

Ito ay dahil sa pagbabayad sa ating panlabas na utang, ayon sa Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) nitong Linggo.


Ayon sa datus ng BSP, ito ang pinakamababa magmula nang naitala ang US$98.216 bilyon na foreign reserves ng nakaraan Pebrero.


Samantala, ang gold holdings ng bansa ay bumaba sa US$10.011 bilyon ng katapusan ng Hunyo,
mula sa level na $10.208 bilyon noong nakaraang Mayo.

Ayon kay Michael Ricafort , chief economist ng Rizal Commercial Banking Corp., (ang muling pagtaas ng dollar reserves) ay masusuportahan ng dolyar na ipadadala ng Overseas Filipino Workers sa darating na mga buwan, exports, at kita mula sa Business Process Outsourcing ng mga banyagang kompanya sa bansa.
