Mga walang trabaho, bumaba ang bilang – PSA

SINABI ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) na bumaba ang bilang ng mga Pilipinong walang
trabaho nitong Hulyo.


Ayon sa datos ns PSA, nasa 2.27 milyong Pilipino o 4.8 percent ang walang trabaho. Mas mababa
pa ito kaysa sa 2.33 milyon o 5.2 percent nitong Hunyo.


Ayon pa sa PSA, ang bilang nga mga walang trabaho ang pinakamababa sa nasabing yugto.
“This means that 48 out of 1,000 individuals in the labor force do not have a job or business in July 2023,” saad ng PSA.

Kabaliktaran naman sa underemployment o kulang sa trabaho.


Nitong Hulyo, umabot sa 7.1 milyon ang underemployed, mas mataas ito kumpara sa 5.87 milyon
na naitala nitong Hunyo.

Sinabi ng ilang economic observers na kapag nagsimula nang ipatupad ng gobyerno ang
malalaking infrastructure projects sa mga susunod na buwan, lalong darami ang magkakaroon ng
trabaho at magiging masigla ang pagnenegosyo sa mga lugar na may proyekto.
