“’SOP’ seems to be easy to ignore, but when you get there, it’s difficult and you may be eaten up by the system. 20% of the 30% goes to the high position and the 10% goes to the ‘others,’” ang pahayag ng alkalde sa mga dumalo sa “Aguhon Leadership Summit 2024” na ginanap ngayong araw sa Tanghalang Rizal sa Rizal High School sa lungsod.

Nilinaw nito na ang ₱1 billion ng ₱5 billion ng isang local government unit (LGU), by “conservative estimate” in cash at walang ebidensya na napupunta sa corruption.

“The question is that how we end up with ₱1 billion for an LGUs goes to corruption,” sinabi pa ni Sotto na sa maliit na bagay nagsisimula ang corruption.

“Good governance is a challenging good topic, and it’s difficult to achieve,” ayon pa kay Sotto.

Naroon sa nasabing pagtitipon sina Anti-Red Tape Authority Deputy Director General Undersecretary Gerald Divinagracia, House of Representatives Chief of Political Affairs Jayel Balago, at Taytay Councilor Tobit Cruz ganun din sina Angat Buhay Executive Director Ralph Ruben Morales, Pasig City SK Federation Chairperson KC Costillas, Aguhon Youth Head Felicity Payumo, at 500 kalahok na mga kabataan mula sa iba’t ibang sektor.
