AABOT sa mahigit 500,000 ang maibebentang kotse sa 2024.

Ayon kay Rommel Gutierrez, pangulo ng Chamber of Automotive Manufacturer of the
Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) na possibleng makabenta ng 500,000 units sa taong ito kapag
pinagsama ang benta ng CAMPI at TMA o Truck Manufacturers Association.


Lumago daw ang benta ng 22 percent nitong 2023 o 429,807. Hindi pa kasali rito ang
benta ng independent industry players o iyong hindi miyembro ng car at truck groups.

Malaki raw ang naitulong ng gumagandang ekonomiya ng bansa sa paglago ng kanilang benta, pati na ang mababang porsyento ng loan interest.


Pati raw Chinese vehicle brands ay nag-apply para maging miyembro ng CAMPI, lalong
magpapataas ng benta ng mga sasakyan ngayong taon.

“With their membership, we can already capture more accurate data from Chinese
brands, unlike before, we were just estimating,” dagdag pa niya.


Nakabuti rin daw ang tax incentives mula sa gobyerno sa mga sasakyang gawa sa
bansa, basta ang mga ito’y makaabot sa 200,000 units ang naibenta bawat modelo.
Lumampas na ang mga naibentang Toyota Vios at Mitsubishi Mirage sa bilang na ito.
