4,500 ‘Tsuper Iskolar’ may trabaho na

HALOS 4,500 na sa mga naka-gradweyt sa programang “Tsuper Iskolar” ay nagka-
trabaho o nakapagtayo ng sariling negosyo, ayon sa report ng TESDA nitong Martes.


Ang programa ay nagbibigay ng scholarship at pagsasanay sa negosyo para sa drivers
na apektado ng public utility vehicle (PUV) modernization program.


Maging ang kapamilya ng drivers ay nabigyan din ng libreng skills training, skills
assessment, at training sa pagiging entreprenyur.


Ayon sa datos ng TESDA o Technical Education and Skills Development Authority,
umabot na sa 23,485 ang nakapag-enrol sa programa at 22,308 ang naka-gradweyt.
Sa bilang na ito, 17,651 ang nabigyan ng certification at 4,397 ang nagka-trabaho o
nakapagsimula ng sariling negosyo.


“Hinihikayat po namin ang ating mga kababayang tsuper na apektado ng PUV
modernization program na mag-avail ng libreng training at assessment sa TESDA sa
ilalim ng Tsuper Iskolar Program. Ang mga skills training ay maaari nilang magamit sa
kanilang paghahanap ng panibagong pagkakakitaan o pangkabuhayan,” saad ni TESDA
DG Secretary Suharto Mangudadatu.

BASAHIN  ₱100 Arawang dagdag-sahod, tinanggihan


Pinakapopular ng kurso ang Bread and Pastry Production, Hilot (Wellness Massage),
Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Tile Setting, Shielded Metal Arc Welding,
Masonry, Cookery, at Driving (Passenger Bus/Straight Truck).


Ang bawat kurso ay tumatagal ng lima hanggang 40 araw.


Bukod pa sa libreng assessment at certification, ang bawat nakapag-enrol na “Tsuper
Iskolar” ay bibigyan ng ₱350 allowance araw-araw sa loob ng maximum na 35 araw.
