₱240-B ginastos ng Maynilad mula 2007-2023

NAG-INVEST ang Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) nang mahigit sa P240 bilyon
para mapahusay ang serbisyo nito magmula 2007 hanggang 2023 sa West Zone ng
Greater Manila Area.


Ang pagpapapabilis ng Capex projects ng Maynilad ay nakapagbukas ng halos
445,000 mga bagong trabaho sa panahong nabanggit.


Ilan sa mga proyekto ng Maynilad ay: 1) Ang paglalagay ng 6,821 kilometrong bagong
pipelines o mga tubo, 2) Rehabilitasyon ng mga lumang pasilidad, 3) Paglalagay ng
valves at iba pang devices na panukat sa buong water network, 4) 30 bagong pumping
stations, 5) 28 na bagong reservoirs, 6) limang bagong water treatment plants, 7) at
20 wastewater treatment plants. Kasali rin dito ang pagdi-develop ng mga bagong
pagkukunan ng tubig partikular sa bahaging timog ng concession area.

Ngayong 2024, gagastos ang Maynilad ng mahigit sa P24 bilyon para mapahusay at
mapalawak ang wastewater services nito. Ito ay mas mataas ng 71 percent o P14
bilyon kaysa ginastos noong 2023.
