₱500-B ayuda, pasok sa 2024 budget

MAYROONG nakalaang ₱500 bilyong ayuda sa panukalang 2024 National Budget para matulungan ang 48 milyong Pilipino mula sa mahigit 12 milyong mahihirap na pamilya.

Ayon sa pahayag ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez kamakailan, ito ang kauna-unahang paglalaan ng pondo sa ilalim ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. para makatulong sa mga mahihirap ng Pilipino na maiangat, kahit paano, ang kanilang buhay.

Nagpasalamat ang Speaker kina Ako Bicol Partylist Rep. Zaldy Co, chairman ng House Committee on Appropriations; Senador Sonny Angara, chair. Senate Finance Committee, at sa kanyang mga kasamahan sa Kongreso.

Naka-iskedyul sa Miyerkules ang paglagda ni Marcos ang 2024 General Appropriations Bill sa isang simpleng seremonya sa Malacañang.
