CHED, binuksan ang satellite office sa Talisay city

PINALAWAK pa ng Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) ang frontline services nito sa
Negros Occidental nang magbukas ito ng satellite office sa Talisay City.


Dahil sa bagong regional office, ang pag-i-issue ng certifications, special orders, scholarships at
iba pang transaksyon ay mapabibilis at madaling puntahan, ayon sa CHEd.


“I thank our education champions, especially Rep. Kiko Benitez, and Regional Director Raul
Alvarez for facilitating the establishment of the CHEDROVI Sub-Regional Office. This shows
that we are serious in bringing services closer to the people,” saad ni CHEd Chair Prospero de
Vera III.


Ang ating bansa ay isang archipelago na may mahigit na 7,000 isla, kaya ang pagpapatupad ng
programa ng gobyerno ay nananatiling isang hamon, ayon pa sa CHEd.

Ayon kay Rep. Francisco Benitez, D3, Negros Occidental, matagal na silang umaasa na
magtayo ng sub-regional office sa lalawigan dahil mayroon itong malaking populasyon.
Sinabi pa ni Benitez na patuloy daw na tutulungan ng Kongreso ang mga mamamayan ng
Negros sa pamamagitan nang pagpapahusay ng serbisyo ng CHEd.


Ayon naman kay Alvarez na dahil sa bagong regional office, hindi na pupunta ang mga taga-
Negros Occidental sa kasunod na isla sa Iloilo para ma-proseso ang kanilang CHEd documents.
Hindi na rin kailangang magbiyahe ng dalawang oras sa ferry, kaya tipid-oras na, tipid-gastos
pa.
