Gobyerno ng Pilipinas, handa na sa repatriation

SINABI ng Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) nitong Huwebes na plinaplantsa na nila ang
preparasyon para sa repatriation flights ng OFWs na nadadamay ngayon sa digmaan sa pagitan ng Israel at Hamas terrorist group.

Ipinahayag din ng ahensya na inihahanda na nila ang prosesong legal para maiuwi na sa Pilipinas ang mga labi ng dalawang Pilipinong nasawi sa Israel.

“So abangan na lang ang karampatang anunsyo dito because obviously we’re preparing the flights and all that.

But soon there will be repatriation of OFWs,” ayon kay DMW officer-in-charge Hans Leo Cacdac.

Sa ngayon, mayroong 22 OFWs ang nagpabatid nang pagnanais na makauwi na sa bansa.

Kabilang dito ang 19 na caregiver at 3 hotel workers sa Israel.

nakapag-asawa ng Palestinian na naiipit sa Gaza Strip dahil sa total blockade na isinagawa ng Israel military.

“It’s been done before noong pandemic sa Saudi. We had mass repatriation of remains so kakayanin man,” ani Cacdac.

Samantala, sinabi ni Department  of Foreign Affairs USec. Educardo de Vega na sinimulan na raw nila ang pagproseso para maiuwi ang mga labi ng dalawang namatay na OFW.

“(The) Only question is about the shipment of remains. We are not sure if the families prefer to have them here but the process is (still) ongoing,” ayon kay De Vega sa panayam ng ABS-CBN.

Inilagay na ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas sa Alert Level 3 ang sitwasyon sa Gaza bunga na rin nang mahigit 600 pambobomba ng Israel Air Force sa pinaniniwalaan nilang kuta ng Hamas terrorist groups.

Ayon sa ilang military analysts, hindi maikakailang malapit nang kubkubin ng Israel military ang Gaza Strip para tuldukan na ang teroristang grupo.
