INILUNSAD ng Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) nitong Linggo ang bagong
Philippine Lottery System (PLS), na magbibigay ng maraming benepisyo.


Kasama rito ang pagkakaroon nang centralized sales reports, pagbola ng mga mananalong
numbers, at mas mabilis na validation ng winning tickets. Mapapabilis nito ang proseso at
magiging transparent para sa PCSO at mga mananaya.


Sinaksihan nina PCSO General Manager Mel Robles, kasama ang mga opisyal nito, pati na
mga taga-Commission on Audit (CoA), ang transition o pagbabago mula sa lumang sistema ng
loterya sa pinakabagong state-of-the-art na teknolohiya na naayon sa world-class standards.

Ito ay naganap sa PCSO command and control center sa Lungsod ng Mandaluyong.
“All lottery operations are now seamalessly integrated into a unified platform”, pahayag ni
Robles.

Ang proyekto ay natapos dahil sa isang kasunduan sa Philippine Gaming and Management
Corporation, Pacific Online Systems Corporation, at International Lottery Totalizator Systems,
Inc.


Ang proyekto ay ginastusan ng P5.6 bilyon at pinasimulan nang naunang administrasyon ng
PCSO at sumailalim sa isang public bidding. Ang nanalong bidder ay binigyan ng 14 na
buwan para masaigawa ang PLS.


Ang PLS ay sinertipikahan at nakapasa sa pagsusuri ng World Lottery Association (WLA-
SCS), pati na ISO 27001 standards, para makatiyak sa seguridad at integridad ng sistema.
