Gun ban, ipatutupad sa 2nd Marcos SONA

MAHIGPIT na ipatutupad ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang gun ban sa Metro Manila, Central
Luzon, at Calabarzon sa araw ng State-of-the-Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.


Ayon sa PNP, ang pagpapatupad ay magsisimula ng 12:01 ng umaga hanggang 11:59 ng gabi sa Hulyo 24.

Nasa huling yugto na raw ng preparasyon ang PNP para sa SONA.

Binabalaan ng PNP ang mga sibilyan na lahat ng “permit to carry firearms outside residence” ay
pansamantalang kanselado sa araw ng gun ban.


Ayon kay PNP Chief Gen. Benjamin Acorda noong Lunes, mahigit 23,000 mga pulis at force multipliers ang ide-deploy sa araw ng SONA.
