NAGSUSPETSA noong Lunes ang isang mambabatas na baka raw si dating Pangulong
Rodrigo Duterte ang diumano’y nangako sa China na aalisin ang BRP Sierra Madre
mula sa Ayungin Shoal.


Ayon kay ACT Teachers party-list Rep. France Castro, naobserbahan niya na sina
dating Pangulong Joseph Estrada at dating Pangulo at ngayo’y Pampanga D2 Rep.
Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo ay mariing tumanggi sa nabanggit na isyu.


“Kagagaling lang daw ni Duterte sa China at kinausap si President Xi Jinping, pero hindi
pa isinasapubliko ang detalye ng kanilang pinag-usapan,” ayon kay Castro sa wikang
English.


“As it is, Duterte has the longest list of instances of sleeping with China,” ayon pa kay
Castro.

Kahit na raw ang dating Pangulong Duterte at anak nitong si Vice President Sara
Duterte, ay hindi nag-issue na anomang pagbatikos sa ginawang pambomba ng tubig ng
China Coast Guard sa ating resupply mission habang patungo ito sa BRP Sierra Madre.

Hindi rin daw sila nag-deny tungkol sa nabanggit na pangako sa China. (Kahapon ay

Plano ni Castro at ng Makabayan block sa Kongreso na mag-file ng resolusyon para
maimbestigahan ang tungkol sa pangako ng isang lider ng bansa – na hindi
pinangalanan ng China – na aalisin ang naturang barko o maaaring ito’y gawa-gawa
lamang ng China.
