THE Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has opened registration for the 1st Philippine Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship Skills Competition (PDIESC) 2026, inviting Filipino technical-vocational learners and graduates nationwide to showcase their digital talent on a global stage.

The competition is open to active Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) learners, graduates, and college students enrolled in TESDA-related programs.

Designed to be inclusive, it requires no prior background in digital innovation or entrepreneurship, offering participants of all skill levels an opportunity to develop and display their capabilities.

Organized in partnership with the China-Philippines Silk Road Institute Foundation (CPSRIF) and the Unified Technical Vocational Education and Training (UniTVET), the initiative stems from a 2024 Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening bilateral TVET cooperation and boosting workforce competitiveness under Republic Act No. 7796.

TESDA Secretary Jose Francisco “Kiko” B. Benitez highlighted the importance of future-ready skills, stating, “The future of work is increasingly digital, creative, and entrepreneurial—and skills remain at the forefront.

In this competition, we are providing our learners with the venue to showcase and then further hone talents, while also linking them to international opportunities.”

The competition features three progressive phases:

  • Stage One (July 13 – Sept. 7): Participants design AI-assisted commercial packaging and brand visual concepts.
  • Stage Two (Sept. 8 – 30): Qualifiers produce commercial short videos to market their original ideas.
  • Stage Three (Oct. 1 – 23): Finalists partner with local merchants for hands-on community engagement and real-world business promotion.

Entries will be evaluated on creativity, commercial viability, technical execution, and entrepreneurial value.

National victors will earn medals, trophies, cash prizes, and certificates. Crucially, top performers will represent the Philippines at the International Finals in China scheduled for November 29–30, 2026.

Interested participants can sign up by creating an account on the official PhiLinkEdu Digital Training Platform at https://www.philinkedu.com/
