AIMING to capture a larger share of the rapidly expanding global healthcare technology market, a high-level delegation of Philippine health tech enterprises showcased their cutting-edge digital services at the prestigious Digital Health Festival (DHF) 2026.

The initiative was spearheaded by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), the export promotion arm of the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

CITEM led eight premier tech companies to Melbourne to spotlight the Philippines’ robust capabilities in healthcare information technology (IT) and artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled healthcare solutions.

ADEC Innovation Healthcare, Advanced World Solutions Inc., Genfinity, iQor, ISSI Corp, Kreatex Digital, Inc., Pointwest Technologies, and Visayas KPO were featured in the global trade event’s Philippine Pavilion.

The pavilion served as a collaborative hub promoting the country’s core competencies in healthcare information management services (HIMS), digital engineering, clinical support, revenue cycle management, and customer experience solutions tailored for the modern digital health ecosystem.

The two-day trade event yielded immediate commercial interest.

The Philippine Pavilion welcomed nearly 200 high-profile visitors, engaging them in business discussions and technical presentations.

These interactions successfully generated a significant pool of qualified leads for prospective outsourcing solutions, healthcare IT services, and digital support partnerships.

Given the highly promising debut, the delegation strongly recommended establishing a permanent annual presence at future editions of the DHF.

CITEM Executive Director Leah Pulido Ocampo expressed immense satisfaction with the delegation’s performance, emphasizing the unique edge that Filipino tech talent brings to the global stage.

Ocampo reaffirmed CITEM’s long-term commitment to backing local health tech small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as they scale up their international footprint.

“With confidence in their competitiveness, CITEM will continue supporting our health tech SMEs with the same degree of commitment,” said Ocampo.

The delegation participated under the banner of PARTNER Philippines, a CITEM-led program positioning the country as a premier global business hub.

The mission was supported by a robust network of government and industry partners, including the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), the Philippine Trade and Investment Center-Sydney, the DTI-Export Management Bureau (DTI-EMB), the Healthcare Information Management Association of the Philippines (HIMAP), and the IT-Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP).

The DHF stands as Australia’s largest digital health innovation event, attracting more than 6,000 healthcare professionals, technology leaders, and clinicians worldwide.

Maximizing this massive audience, the delegation hosted a well-attended panel discussion titled “Digital Health in Action: Cost-Effective Models for Scaling Workforce, Innovation and Better Care” at the Cosmo Theatre.

Featuring insights from PEZA Director General Tereso O. Panga, IBPAP President Jack Madrid, and HIMAP Vice President Julian Valenzuela, the session drew over 100 industry stakeholders to discuss investment readiness and workforce scaling.

Following the main event, the delegation conducted benchmarking visits to the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI) and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

These visits provided the Philippine companies with critical insights into advanced healthcare digitization, sophisticated operational systems, and world-class research ecosystems.

This successful Australian mission builds upon CITEM’s sustained momentum in driving the sector’s global push, following similar high-impact trade missions in the United States and local industry conferences over the past year.
