Unconsolidated, unregistered PUVs huhulihin—LTFRB

HUHULIHIN ng LTFRB, LTO, at iba pang ahensya ng gobyerno ang unconsolidated public
utility vehicles o PUVs simula sa Mayo 1, 2024.

Pero pwede pa ring hulihin ang driver kahit nakasali na ito sa kooperatiba at sa
consolidation kung hindi rehistrado sa Land Transportation Office (LTO) ang kanilang
sasakyan.

Ito ay ayon sa isang memorandum na ipinalabas ng Land Transportation Franchising
and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Nitong Pebrero 1.

“The authority to operate the units of all unconsolidated individual operators is
extended until 30 April 2024, provided the unit is currently registered with the [LTO]
and has a valid personal passenger accident insurance coverage,” Ayon sa LTFRB
Memorandum Circular No. 2024-001 na nilagdaan ni Chairman Teofilo Guadiz III.

consolidation deadline mula Disyembre 31, 2023 hanggang sa Abril 30, 2024, matapos
irekomenda ito ni Department of Transportation Sec. Jaime Bautista.

Pagkatapos ng Abril 30, 2024, ituturing nang colorum ang public utility vehicles na
hindi nakasali sa consolidation, at ito ay mai-impound.
