Palugit ng LTFRB, hindi malinaw — PISTON

Nagdulot ng kalituhan sa mga jeepney driver ang isang kondisyon na inilatag ng gobyerno tungkol sa deadline ng franchise consolidation.

Kaugnay ito sa ibinabang memorandum ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), kung saan sinasabing sakaling hindi umabot sa 60% ang consolidated jeepney ay  pahihintulutang bumiyahe ang mga tsuper na hindi nakapag-consolidate hanggang sa Enero 31, 2024.

Ayon kay PISTON President Mody Floranda, walang ruta na umabot ng 60% kaya’t nangangahulugan itong maaari pa rin silang bumiyahe.

Ngunit may nagsasabi aniya na expired na at wala na ang  prangkisa ang mga hindi nakapag-consolidate kaya hindi na pwedeng bumiyahe ang mga ito.

Binigyang-diin naman ni Floranda na bagaman hindi malinaw ang inilabas na panuntunan ng LTFRB,  patuloy na bibiyahe ang mga tsuper at operator.
