9 OFWs, 5 bata, dumating mula sa Lebanon

Siyam na Filipino workers (OFWs) at limang bata ang dumating sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 nitong Huwebes.

Ito ay matapos silang pumayag na makasama sa voluntary repatriation program na iniaalok ng pamahalaan sa OFWs na nananatili pa rin sa Lebanon.

Ang grupo ay ika-20 batch ng mga napauwi mula sa bansang ito. Sa kabuuan, umabot sa 111 OFWs na mula sa Lebanon ang nakabalik sa bansa magmula nang dumating ang unang batch noong Oktubre 28.

Sinalubong sila nina Department of Migrant Workers Asst. Secretaries Venecio Legaspi at Francis Ron de Guzman.

Pagkadating ng siyam na OFWs, agad silang tumanggap ng ₱125,000, pati na rin vouchers para sa training, capacity enhancement, at mga pasalubong mula sa Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, and the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
