NASA final stage na ang isang resolusyon ng Senado na kung saan, pormal na ipahahayag ng
kapulungan ang tungkol sa walang-humpay na panghihimasok at pambu-bully ng China sa Pilipinas sa West Philippine Sea.
Sinabi ni Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri sa isang press conference na determinado raw silang
magsampa ng reklamo sa United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) laban sa patuloy na paglabag
ng China sa 2016 Permanent Court of Arbitration ruling (sa the Hague, Netherlands) na pabor sa
Pilipinas.
“This coming week of the SONA (State of the Nation Address), we will pass a strongly worded
resolution of our disgust, of our frustration, of our anger on the repeated incursions of our
exclusive economic zone,” pahayag ni Zubiri.
