Bangkay ng OFW na pinatay sa Saudi naiuwi na

Nakauwi na sa bansa ang bangkay ng 32-anyos na overseas Filipino worker (OFW) na umanoy pinatay ng isang African national na katrabaho ng biktima sa Saudi Arabia.

Mula sa tulong ng Migrant Workers Office, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) at Embassy sa Saudi Arabia ay naiuwi na si Marjorette Garcia.

Ayon kay Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) officer-in-charge Undersecretary Hans Leo Cacdac, isang napakasakit na pangyayari ang mag-uuwi ng bangkay mula sa isang bansa na kung saan isang OFW ang nasawi na isang senseless act of violence.

Kasama ni Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) chief Arnell Ignacio ang pamilya ng  biktima na nagsundo sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport bandang 10:30 Biyernes ng umaga.

Sinabi pa ni Cacdac hindi nila pababayaan ang naulilang pamilya, particular na ang dalawang anak ng biktima.

Matatandaang sinaksak si Garcia ng kanyang Kenyan co-worker sa Saudi matapos ang mainitang pagtatalo na umanoy selos at inggit sa employer ang dahilan ng pagpatay sa biktima.
