Mga bilanggo, nakatanggap ng P400-K na gamit sa bakery

PARA matulungan ang mga bilanggo sa Montevista District Jail (MDJ) Davao de Oro para kumita ng pera, binigyan sila ng gamit sa bakery na may halagang P400,000 noong Miyerkules.


Ang turn-over ay pinangunahan ng mga opisyal ng Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE)-
Davao de Oro at sinaksihan ng mga opisyal ng bilangguan at ilang inmates.


Ayon kay Jail Chief Insp. Jul Akbar Jamiri, ang district jail warden, ang bakery equipment ang
magpapalakas ng moral ng mga bilanggo. Aktuwal na magagamit din nila ang kasanayang nakuha nila mula sa paggawa ng iba’t ibang tinapay at cake.


Nag-aalok ang MDJ bakery hindi lang sa mga kawani ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology
(BJMP) kundi maging sa publiko.

Ang staff ng bakery ay nagsanay sa Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
