Ito marahil ang nasa isip ni Senador Nancy Binay tungkol sa “Love the Philippines”, tourism
campaign slogan ng Department of Tourism (DoT).


Dapat na raw palitan ang DoT slogan dahil lumalabas na katawa-tawa ito, bunga ng kontrobersiyang nakapaloob sa paggamit ng stock video footage na kuha sa ibang bansa, ayon kay Binay, chair, Senate committee on tourism.


“Hindi na dapat palitan ang dating slogan na “It’s More Fun in the Philippines”… dahil sa nakitang
kaguluhan (sa video), sana makita din ng DoT na baka it’s a sign na “fun” is better than “love”,
dagdag pa ng Senador.
