Cybercrime, lumala pa kahit may SIM registration

Lumala nang husto ang cybercrime incidents sa National Capital Region (NCR) nang 152 percent, magmula Enero hanggang Hunyo 2023, pahayag ng Philippine National Police (PNP).


Ayon sa PNP, hindi bababa sa 6,250 cybercrimes ang nai-report sa pulisya magmula Enero 1 hanggang sa katapusan ng Hunyo. Ito ay mas mataas kaysa 2,477 na naitala sa parehong panahon noong 2022.


Sa kabila ng SIM registration na magtatapos sa Hulyo 25, posible pa na lalong lalala ang cybercrime sa bansa dahil sa mahuhusay na hackers, malware o malicious software sa internet, at kapabayaan ng online users.
