Nasawi sa Davao landslide umabot na sa 54

SINABI ng mga awtoridad na 19 pang mga bangkay ang nahukay sa naganap na
landslide sa Barangay Masara, Maco, Davao de Oro.


Umabot na sa 54 ang bilang ng mga namatay sa Peb. 6 landslide.


Nanatiling nawawala ang 77 na katao, 35 ang nasaktan, samantalang 32 ang nai-
rescue, ayon sa Maco LGU nitong Sabado ng gabi.


“Twenty-three cadavers were recovered today… Eighteen are unidentified and five are
identified,” ayon kay Ednar Dayanghirang, director, OCD, Davao region, kahapon.
Magpapatuloy daw ang paghahanap sa lahat ng mga nawawala hanggang sa sila’y
matagpuan, aniya pa.

Sa buong Davao de Oro, 1,347 pamilya o 5,431 indibiduwal ang nananatili pa rin sa 12
evacuation centers.

Samantala, hinimok ng Davao de Oro LGU ang mga kapamilya ng mga biktima na
kilalanin at kunin na ang mga labi nang narekober sa guho. Kailangan lang nilang
magtungo sa Dead and the Missing Persons unit na nasa incident command post para
gawin ito.
