HANEP! Hi-tech na classrooms!


Ito ang nais ipabatid ng pamahalaang lungsod ng Makati matapos ianunsyo ang
paglikha ng 400 “smart classrooms”, na bawat isa ay may “interactive hybrid boards”
(IHB) na may unlimited internet connection, tablets, whiteboards at iba pang hi-tech
na kagamitan.


Inilahad ni Mayor Abby Binay na nakapag-deliver na sila ng 200 HIBs, o 50 percent sa
target na 400. Idinagdag pa niya na may 119 na ang naikabit sa mga pampublikong
elementary schools at 81 sa secondary.


Ang bawat HIB unit ay may Android 11.0 operating system at may 5G wireless internet access, WiFi hotspot at three-way USB interface support.


Mayroon din silang 4-core 64-bit CPU, 4K touchscreen whiteboard with multi-gesture writing features, wireless co-screening with multiple screenings, pati na remote
snapshot capability.

“We aim to incorporate IoT (Internet of Things) devices into 400 smart classrooms and expand this initiative in the near future,” ani Binay.


“Our goal is to continuously provide quality education and modern instructional resources that meet the demands of the 21st century,” dagdag pa niya.


Ang mga estudyante sa “smart classrooms” ay makagagamit ng tablets na nakakonekta sa Learning Management System ng paaralan.


Kaugnay ng proyektong ito, noong Oktubre at Nobyembre 2023, mayroong 692 public
school teachers sa Makati ang nakatanggap ng hands-on training sa paggamit ng mga
nabanggit na teknolohiya.
