2023 Fireworks-Related Injuries, tumaas ng 98% – DOH

Tumaas ng 98.37 % ang kaso ng fireworks-related injuries (FWRI) sa taong 2023 kumpara sa naitalang kaso noong 2022.

Batay sa datos ng Department of Health, pumalo na sa 609 ang kaso ng fireworks-related injuries sa bansa na mas mataas kumpara sa naitalang 307 cases noong 2022.

Sa 609 cases, 601 dito ay dahil sa paputok, isa ang nakalunok ng watusi at pito ang tinamaan ng ligaw na bala.

Pinakamaraming kaso ng FWRI ay mula sa NCR, sinundan ng Ilocos Region, Calabarzon at Central Luzon.

Patuloy namang binabantayan ng DOH ang mga kaso ng tetanus na kaugnay ng paputok.
