Timor-Leste Pres., bibisita sa ‘Pinas; Teves, kasama sa agenda?

Bibisita sa bansa si Timor-Leste President José Ramos-Horta sa Nobyembre 10, ayon sa
Malacañang kahapon.


Hindi pa malinaw kung pag-uusapan nina Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at Ramos-Horta ang
pagpapabalik sa Pilipinas nang sinipang si Negros Oriental Rep. Arnolfo Teves Jr.


Matatandaang si Teves – na matagal nang nagtatago sa Timor-Leste – ay humiling noon ng
political asylum pero ito ay hindi ibinigay ng gobyerno rito.


Nauna na rito, inakusahan si Teves na siyang utak sa pagpapatay kay Negros Oriental
governor Roel Degamo noong Marso.

Sa opisyal na pahayag ng Presidential Communications Office, pag-uusapan ng dalawang lider
ang magiging kooperasyon ng dalawang bansa tungkol sa teknikal, politikal, edukasyon at
ekonomiya.
