300,000 jeep nagbanta ng tigil pasada sa Lunes – Manibela

Tuloy na sa Lunes, Oct. 16 ang banta ng grupong Manibela  na tigil pasada, kasunod ng pagsali ng kanilang 300,000 kasapi na sabay-sabay na hindi bibiyahe bilang pagtutol sa umano’y katiwalian sa loob ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) at pagpapatupad ng public utility vehicle modernization program ng Department of Transportation (DOTr).

Nagdeklara na ng walang pasok at walang face to face classes sa Lunes ang ilang local government units (LGU) at paaralan na kung saan ay ipatutupad muna ang virtual learning.

Una nang sinabi ni Manibela chairperson Mar Valbuena na nasa  300,000 driver at operator ang kanilang kasapi na kung saan halos nasa kalahati a ng nagkumpirma na magsasagawa ng nationwide  transport strike sa Lunes

Sinabi pa ng Manibela na ilang tsuper ng UV Express, taxis, at ride-hailing vehicles ay sasali rin sa magaganap na dalawang araw na tigil pasada,  Oct. 16 at 17.

Inaasahan na magaganap ang online classes sa mga maaapektuhang lugar dahil tiyak na walang masasakyan ang mga mag-aaral at guro na papasok sa kanilang paaralan.

Una nang nag-anunsyo na walang pasok sa Angeles City sa  Pampanga, Sta. Rosa, Laguna, De La Salle University Manila at UERM Memorial Medical Center sa Quezon City.
