Pagharang ng china sa ating resupply mission, Pumalpak

INIULAT ng National Task Force on the West Philippine Sea (NTF-WPS) kahapon na muling hinarang ng China Coast Guard ang ating resupply mission sa BRP Sierra Madre sa Ayungin Shoal nitong Oktubre 4.


Pero kahit na paulit-ulit ang ginagawang harassment ng China sa ating tropa para mag-resupply at magpalit ng mga sundalo sa World War II era na barko, ay nabigo ulit sila.


Ayon pa sa NTF-WPS, ang mga barko ng Armed Forces Western Command at ng Philippine Coast
Guard ay muling hinarang ng mga barko ng China Coast Guard at halos ilang metro na lamang ay
mabagangga na ito, pero dahil sa mahusay na maniobra, nakaiwas sa aksidente ang ating mga barko.


Target ng pambu-bully ng China ang resupply boats na Unaizah May 1 at Unaizah May 2, pati na ang PCG escorts na BRP Cabra at BRP Sindangan.

Gaya nang mga naunang insidente ng harassment, inakusahan ng China ang Pilipinas na pumapasok sa teritoryo nito, na taliwas sa katotohanan dahil pasok sa 200-mile exclusive economic zone ang Ayungin Shoal ayon sa Arbitral Ruling sa the Hague. Kinikilala rin ito ng maraming bansa.


“These missions are the legitimate exercise of the administrative functions of the Philippine government over the WPS, in line with UNCLOS, the 2016 Arbitral Award, and domestic laws,” ayon pa sa NTF-WPS.


Naninindigan si Pangulong President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na patuloy na lulutasin ng Pilipinas ang sigalot na ito sa mapayapang paraan at naayon sa international order.
