20 sugarol nalambat sa QC

PATULOY ang kampanya ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) sa pagsugpo ng illegal na sugal na kung saan nasa 20 sugarol ang nalambat sa magkakahiwalay na operation ng ibat ibang QC police stations.

Sa nakalap na report mula sa tanggapan ni QCPD PBGen. Nicolas Torre III, pinarangalan niya ang ilang police stations dahil sa paghuli ng 20 illegal gamblers sa patuloy na pakikiisa sa kampanya kontra illegal gambling. 

Sa Novaliches Police Station (PS 4), inaresto sina Ivan Suarez; Wayne Mutoc; at Ramon Bautista bandang 8:30 ng gabi sa Brgy. Bagbag, Novaliches, Quezon City habang nasusugal ng cara y cruz sa kalsada at nakuhanan ng isang improvised handgun at isang 9mm live ammunition.

Sa Cubao Police Station (PS 7), nalambat naman sina Jeffrey Buko at Roberto Conor bandang 1:00 Martes ng hapon sa Brgy. E Rodriguez, Cubao, Quezon City habang ang Payatas Bagong Silangan Police Station (PS 13) ay naaresto sina Arjay Paredes; Rodolfo Dela Cruz; Vivencio Baldamor; Pio Nicart; Vergel Mangisel; Martin Boy Malana; Emeraldo Yohanon; Emeraldo Yohanon; at Michael Garcia sa Brgy. Payatas B, Quezon City sa pagsusugal din ng cara y cruz.

Naaresto naman sa larong “Bet Game” sina Marites Boloron; Gina David; Chary Mae Pavillar; Regine Gulagula; Ruth Colongan; at Jeson Mike Cantiga bandang 5:00 ng hapon s aTawid Sapa II, Brgy.  Kaligayahan, Novaliches, Quezon City ng mga tauhan ng Pasong Putik Police Station (PS 16).

Sinampahan sila ng paglabag sa P.D. 1602 o Anti-Illegal Gambling Law at R.A. 10591 o Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act sa Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
