PCSO tumulong sa mga nabiktima ng pagguho ng simbahan sa Bulacan

NAGLAAN ng serbisyong medikal at tulong ang tanggapan ng Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) sa mga nasugatan sa pagguho ng St. Peter Apostle Parish Church sa Brgy. Tungkong Mangga, San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan noong Feb. 14.

Ayon kay PCSO General Manager Mel Robles, hindi talaga malalaman ang aksidente dahil mismong sa loob ng simbahan ay nagkaroon ng sakuna na kung saan ang bahagi ng mezzanine floor ay gumuho habang nasa kalagitnaan ng misa na ikinasawi ng isang parishioner at nasa 50 ang nasugatan.

Nilinaw ni Robles na sagot ng PCSO ang medical bills sa ilalim ng Medical Assistance Program katuwang ang local government unit, ng anim na nagtamo ng matindi na kailangan pang ma-confine sa pagamutan.

“In the face of this tragic accident that occurred in a place of prayer and refuge, it is our duty to make the victims feel the supportive presence of our government,”  ayon kay GM Robles.

“Under President Bongbong Marcos’ Bagong Pilipinas, it is imperative that we extend help to those in need, particularly those who are burdened by concerns about hospital expenses,” dagdag pa nito.

Kasama ni GM Robles si San Jose del Monte Bulacan Mayor Arthur Robes at PCSO Executive Assistant Arnold Arriola,  na personal na binisita ang mga pasyente at malaman ang kanilang kalagayan at kung ano ang maitutulong pa ng ahensya sa mga nabiktima ng aksidente sa simbahan.

Nainspeksyon din ang simbahwn at nakita ang malaking damage nito na kailangan ng mabilisang repair and rehabilitation para magamit agad ang simbahan.

Dahil sa mabilis na aksyon ng PCSO, nakatulong na at hindi uurong sa pagtulong.
