electric motorcycles at 88 electric buses.

“In the Philippines, as was previously noted, the market for EVs has grown significantly and is
expected to grow over the coming years. For the first quarter of 2023 alone, the number of EV
sales, as already emphasized, has surpassed the total EV sales for the last three years,” ayon kay
Energy Secretary Raphael P.M. Lotilla, nitong Huwebes.

“We are just very optimistic that we can achieve by 2030 (our targets) in line with the support
of the government sector,” dagdag ni Araga.

No. 11697 o ang Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (EVIDA).
