GOOD news! Mga bagong trabaho sa Batangas, mabubuksan.


Ito ang inaasahan ng ating mga kababayan dahil sa pagbuhos nang 11.2 billion Japanese Yen
o P4.4 bilyon para sa expansion ng Murata Philippine Manufacturing Co. sa Tanauan City.


Ayon sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) noong Biyernes, ito ay matapos isa-pinal ang
plano ng Japanese electronic parts maker para sa pagpapalawak ng production capacity ng
kumpanya.


Ang bagong production building ay itatayo sa First Philippine Industrial Park sa Tanauan City,
Batangas.


Ayon kay DTI Sec. Alfredo Pascual, “With the demand expected to grow in the global market,
we would like to explore how we can encourage Japanese companies to expand and upgrade
their operations in the Philippines.”

Idinagdag pa ni Pascual na ang expansion project ay naglalayung tumugon sa lumalaking
demand para sa multi-layer ceramic capacitors, na magagamit sa e-cars, internet, at 6G
communications technology.


Magmula noong 2011, ang kumpanya ay nakapag-empleyo na ng 3,500 kawani at nakapag-
export ng mahigit P68.6 bilyon.
