Imbestigador ng ICC hindi papapasukin sa bansa – DoJ

NILINAW ng the Department of Justice (DoJ) noong Sabado na hindi nito papayagang pumasok ng
bansa ang mga imbestigador ng International Criminal Court (ICC) para imbestigahan ang drug war ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.


Sinabi ni DoJ Senior U/Sec. Raul Vasquez na mariing nanindigan si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
na tuluyan nang putulin ang ugnayan ng bansa sa ICC, matapos ibasura ng huli ang ating apela na suspindihin ang imbestigasyon.


Sinabi ni Vasquez sa Saturday News Forum, “Dahil nasa investigation stage pa lang, gusto po
nilang mag-umpisa rito para mag-imbestiga, at gusto nilang pumunta dito.”


“Wala naman silang otoridad na gumawa ng mga bagay-bagay tungkol sa pag-imbestiga dahil ito
ay mandato ng ating mga tagapagpatupad ng batas…Sa ngayon, (ang) desisyon niya (ni Pangulong Marcos) ay hindi na makipag-engage sa ICC ,” dugtong pa ni Vasquez.

Nang tanungin kung sakaling mag-issue ng arrest warrang laban kina Duterte at iba pa, sinabi ni
