Rapist sa Pasig nakorner sa Bikol

ARESTADO ang isang lalaki na No. 7 top most wanted person ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) at No. 5 naman sa listahan ng Pasig PNP bilang most wanted person, dakong alas-4:30 ng hapon sa Rizal St., Legaspi City sa lalawigan ng Albay nitong Enero 30, 2025.

Sa report ni PCol. Hendrix Mangaldan, chief of police ng Pasig City, kay PCol. Villamor Tuliao, hepe ng Eastern Police District (EPD), kinilala ang suspek na si alyas, “JDT,” 44 taong gulang at residente ng Brgy. San Juan. Taytay. Rizal.

Ayon sa ulat, inaabuso na ng suspek ang biktimang menor-de-edad mula 2018 hanggang 2023 sa bahay nito sa Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City hanggang naglakas-loob ang biktima na humingi na ng tulong.

Nagtago ang suspek kung kaya noong Nobyembre 13, 2023 ay naglabas ng warrant of arrest si Hon. Jesus Angelito Huertas Jr., presiding judge ng Pasig RTC Branch 261 para sa 3 counts ng statutory rape through sexual assault sa ilalim ng Article 266-a par. 2 ng Revised Penal Code na may kaugnayan sa Section 5 (b) ng RA 7610, na may piyansang P200,000 bawat isa.

Idinagdag pa ng husgado ang kasong 2 counts of rape through sexual assault sa ilalim ng Article 266-a par. 2 ng Revised Penal Code na may kaugnayan sa Section 5 (b) ng RA 7610, na may piyansang P200,000 bawat isa, at rape through sexual assault sa ilalim ng Article 266-a par. 2 ng Revised Penal Code na may kaugnayan sa Section 5 (b) ng RA 7610 bilang amyenda sa RA 11648, na may piyansang  P200,000.00.

Ani Tuliao, naging epektibo ang nasabing operasyon dahil sa combined intelligence gathering ng mga puwersa ng NCRPO, Pasig PNP at Legaspi City PNP sa Bicol Region sa layuning tuldukan na ang sexual violence at hustisya para sa mga biktima.

Kasalukuyang hawak na ng Pasig City Police Station sa custodial facility nito ang suspek at naghihintay sa utos ng korte matapos ang pagkaaresto.
