7K rider ng Grab-Move It kakalusin

MATAPOS ang isinagawang imbestigasyon ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), aabot sa 7,000 rider ng Move It ang made-decommission dahil sa overboarding.

Ito ang inihayag ni LTFRB Chairman Teofilo Guadiz matapos mapatunayan na nag-overboard ang kumpanya.

“We did conduct an investigation. There is an overboarding of roughly 7,000 units. We will be asking Move It as soon as we serve the order to decommission the 7,000 riders,” pahayag ni Guadiz.

Ito’y kasunod na rin ng pagbatikos ng isang grupo dahil sa kapabayaan ng Grab-Move It may kaugnayan sa mga kaso ng aksidente na kinasasangkutan ng mga rider nito.

Ayon kay Ronald Gustilo, national campaigner ng grupong Digital Pinoys, kaya aniya nagresulta sa mataas na bilang ng aksidente ang nasabing ride hailing company ay dahil na rin sa kapabayaan nito sa screening process.

Isinumite ni Gustilo sa hearing ng Senate Committee on Public Services ang affidavit ng ilang riders kung saan inamin ng mga ito na kinuha sila ng Move It nang hindi [man lamang] sumailalim sa skills assessment at field training.

“Move It po iyong pinasukan nila. In fact, nandito po iyong riders na kasamahan ng ibang nag-submit ng affidavit. Naglakas-loob sila dahil alam nila na after ng hearing na ito, made-platform na sila sa Move It,” sabi ni Gustilo.

Ibinigay rin ng grupo sa komite ang mga detalye ng mga aksidenteng kinasangkutan ng mga rider ng Move It dahil sa kawalan ng training kung kaya hiniling nila na dapat anilang managot ang kumpanya sa mga sakunang ito.

Ayon kay Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) chairperson Teofilo Guadiz, nagsimula na ang ahensiya sa imbestigasyon sa isyu at maglalabas ng desisyon anumang oras.

Sinabi naman ng mga kinatawan ng Move It na susunod sila sa LTFRB kapag natanggap na ang kopya ng kautusan.

Ang Grab Philippines ang may-ari ng Move it.
